Are you a choreographer, critic, producer or just simply a dance lover? Does dance intrigue you and make you want to understand it better? Choreographical Forum is a SE.S.TA concept where we can share our knowledge, experiences and points of view. What is our common reference? The performances offered by the CDP the day before. To nourish our open discussion, our guests have prepared a series of 5 to 10-minute exploratory interventions: Mara Serina, festival programmer and professor of communication at the university in Emilia Romagna in Italy, dramaturge and theorist of dance Roberto Fratini Serafide from Spain and director, stage designer and artist Michal Pěchouček. Discussions are hosted by Marie Kinsky, founder of SE.S.TA, and held in English. We look forward to moving with you.

Mara Serina (IT)
Mara Serina attended classical studies at Università Cattolica di Milano, where she later worked as the assistant of dramaturgy and history of theatre. Since 2008, she has taught communication in different master studies, e.g. at Scuola di Alta Formazione, Regione Emilia Romagna. In 1995, she became a member of the National Association of Journalists. In 1999, she founded the PR Agency Lagostudio, working for important clients as Piccolo Teatro di Milano, Lombardia Region, etc. Lagostudio has organized many different artistic events (e.g. theatre and dance festival APRITISCENA, literature festival SQUILIBRI). Mara Serina is the artistic consultant of Fondazione Teatro Piemonte Europa. She founded and organizes Italian Performance Platform, cooperates with Coorpi (Coordinamento Danza Piemonte) on discussions and promotion of the Italian version of the international contest "1 Minute Dance".
Roberto Fratini Serafide (ES)
Roberto Fratini Serafide (born in 1972, Milano) is dramaturge and theorist of dance, professor of History and Dance theory at the Theater Institute in Barcelona (Institut del Teatre), he periodically teaches and lectures at other European universities. As a dramaturge he cooperates with many international dance groups or theaters, e.g. with Caterina Sagna Dance Company, La Veronal, Roger Bernat, Taiat Dansa, Germana Civera, Alexandra Waierstall, Aerites Dance Company, Sol Picó, Philippe Saire. He leads dramaturgy internships and workshops of various academies or master degree programs (ESAD Galicia, HBK de Berne, La Manufacture de Lausanne, Scuola Europea dell'Attore). He is also the author of many articles and essays e.g. A Contracuento. La danza y las derivas del narrar (2012).
Michal Pěchouček (CZ)
Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, Prague, in 1999, and received Jindřich Chalupecký Award in 2003. He occasionally works as a “guest teacher,” has been the curator and collaborator of Pragues 35M2 Gallery since 2007 and organises his own as well as collective exhibitions. He was one of the founders of Studio Hrdinů, a Prague theatre situated in the National Gallerys Trade Fair Palace, and remains one of its core directors and stage designers.
